This book is great for the average physics student who's main purpose is passing with the highest possible score. There is not an overt amount of reading, the worked out examples are similar to what prof's like to put on exams and it covers almost every topic.

On the down side it's not calculus based and it lacks some of the insightful information that tends to help you remember this stuff forever. So if you're really serious about your physics, you'll have to supplement this with the internet or buy a much more expensive book.
