Programme Name:	Ph.D. Education in Distance and Non-formal Education (DNFE)
Introduction:	Ph.D programme (Distance, Non-Formal and Continuing Education) aims to provide persons with high level of skills in planning, developing and implementation of distance education, non-formal education, adult education, literacy and continuing education programme at national, provincial and local level. Moreover, it enables the graduates to conduct basic and applied researchs in the context of Pakistan.
Admission Requirement:	Graduates holding MS/ M.Phil of equivalent with (GPA 3.00/1st division in 30 credit hours will be eligible for admission in Ph.D programme. Candidate will apply for admission on prescribed from to the concerned Chairman of the department. If the candidate wishes to apply in more than one specialization, he/she has to apply separat- ely for each specialization. Admission will be strictly on approved criteria.
Selection Process:	Selection of the candidates will be made strictly on the basis of merit/criteria laid down by the Department/ University.
Duration:	Maximum 5 Years
Medium of Instruction:	English
Teaching Methodology:	The University allots Study Centre and Tutors for the Students to get guideline accordingly. A student has to secure passing marks in Assignments as well as in final exams to successfully complete concerned Educational Programme.
