| Introduction: | The Department of Urdu has been offering Ph.D Urdu since 1998. Admission for Ph.D Urdu are announced in Spring semester (commencing from 1st February) every year. |
| Admission Requirement: | MPhil Urdu or equivalent from any HEC recognized university in first division (in Annual System) or CGPA (3.0 out of 4) in Semester System. |
| Selection Process: | Selection of the candidates will be made strictly on the basis of merit/ criteria laid down by the Department/ University. |
| Duration: | Maximum 5 Years |
| Medium of Instruction: | Urdu |
| Teaching Methodology: | The University allots Study Centre and Tutors for the Students to get guideline accordingly. A student has to secure passing marks in Assignments as well as in final exams to successfully complete concerned Educational Programme. |
